A Small Town Called Tampin

The town of Tampin is owned by two states, Negeri Sembilan and Melaka. If you are there, you will notice that the border that separates the two states is not visible. There is no marker that tells which half of the town belongs to Melaka or Negeri Sembilan.

I have taken some pictures that I 'd like to share with you. I was there last week, on the 29th of August 2009. Here they are:

Don't worry if you have to cross the road in this town because the traffic flow is sluggish. This picture was taken facing Melaka.

You will know the age of this town if you look at the rooftop of the shop building.

Many buildings at the Melaka side are older than the ones on the Negeri Sembilan side.

An alley in Tampin, perfect for parking the bikes.

The buildings are old but really colorful

Mind your head, please when you use the kaki lima.

To be continued...
